Dr. Lance Knaub is the President and co-owner of BREAKTHRU Fitness & Physical Therapy. In his role, he ensures quality, evidence- based care applying the most recent literature and research in the field drawing on over 18 years of experience in health and fitness. BREAKTHRU has been recognized nationally as the ‘Best Physical Therapy Practice in the Nation’ by Advance newsmagazine by a panel of Physical Therapy peers for its excellence in clinical care, innovation, and personalized attention.

Lance is a dedicated and innovative clinician, educator, and researcher with a focus on Sports Medicine, Sports Performance, and Injury Prevention. His philosophy is proactive and holistic – looking at the entire body and movements in multiple planes – emphasizing injury prevention, performance enhancement, and health and fitness. He has advanced manual therapy skills and utilizes a hands-on approach with his patients and clients. He served as the Team Physical Therapist for Haddon Township high school football and for the South Jersey Jaguars semi- pro football team for several seasons. He presented at the APTA’s Private Practice National Meeting on how BREAKTHRU achieved its National Best Practice recognition and differentiates itself.

Lance lives in Medford with his wife Jodi Goldman, daughters Sage and Sierra, and son Aspen. When he is not working, he enjoys exercising, the outdoors, hiking, camping, traveling, and is always ready for a pick-up basketball game.
